Where to Eat

Our favorite Restaurants by Neighborhood:

East Harlem

I am half Cuban, and so far in my search, Amor Cubano in East Harlem comes closest to authentic and delicious, and also offers live music at night.

Midtown

I love wine bars. My favorite is Casellula in midtown, the food is simply delicious and it has a great ambience.

Morningside Heights

Pisticci in Morningside Heights is an outstanding, cozy, authentic Italian restaurant. It is great for any occasion. They have their regular menu and always amazing specials. All my friends know I am a huge yelper and try to avoid repeating but I have actually gone there more than once!

Upper West Side

For cookies, Levain bakery in the Upper West Side is a must.

Washington Heights

My favorite Washington Heights restaurant is probably Saggio, a cute italian place with many home made pasta dishes. Cabrini 181 is also good for wine and small plates. There is a place called Heights Tavern Bar and Grill on 164/Broadway that will be opening pretty soon and I am sure that will become another one of our after work spots!

West Village

For delicious, fresh Italian pizza, I love Keste in the West Village.
