Karen E. Eck, BSN, MS, RN, FNP-BC
Karen Eck is the Family Nurse Practitioner at the Columbia Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at New York Presbyterian Hospital where she provides outpatient primary and epilepsy care to adults with epilepsy and she coordinates clinical drug trial investigations. She completed her Master of Science at the Columbia University School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Spanish at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York. From 1996 to 2001, Ms. Eck was the Clinical Staff Nurse in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at New York Presbyterian Hospital. During part of the summer months, Ms. Eck volunteers for Camp Amerikids in Carmel, NY where she provide episodic and acute care for children affected with HIV and AIDS.
